DACP Scheme to the Veterinary Officers of AH & V Services: MP

Port Blair, Mar 07: The matter for grant of Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme to the Veterinary officers working in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service, under A&N UT Administration similar to the benefits granted under DACP scheme to the GDMOs/Dental Doctors w.e.f. 25.08.2006, was pending in the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers as well as MHA, New Delhi.

However, when the matter was brought to his notice, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands had taken up with the matter with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, GoI, New Delhi as well as A&N administration urging them to extend same benefits of DACP scheme to the Veterinary officers working in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service, under the UT Administration as per policy decision taken by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GoI, New Delhi.  Accordingly, after examine the matter and upon instructions of Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the Ministry of Home Affairs has asked all the UTs to take necessary action for implementation of Office Memorandums issued by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Affairs for grant of  Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme to the Veterinary officers working under the UT Administrations.

On implementation of DACP scheme, the Veterinary Officers who are around 20 numbers working under A&N Administration will get promotional pay scales as per scheme without linkage to the vacancies up to level of Director/SAG as extended to the Health Service officers.  Sri Ray, Members of Parliament also urged the Administration to extend the admissible benefits under DACP scheme to Veterinary Officers as early as possible.
