Senior citizens embarked on a memorable outing to Jhinganallah Dam, Marriamma temple, Jirkatang, and Forest Nursery, Miletilak. This carefully organized excursion proved to be a delightful experience for all participants, showcasing the Directorate’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of the senior community.
One of the best parts of the outing was going to Jhinganallah Dam and Forest Nursery, Miletilak. It was amazing because everyone got to be surrounded by nature’s beauty. We could see colorful flowers, hear the birds singing, and feel the fresh air. It felt like we were part of the natural world, and it made the trip even more special for everyone.
Dr. Nitin Shakya, Director (Social Welfare), who spearheaded this initiative, emphasized the substantial benefits that outings like these provide to the mental and emotional well-being of senior citizens.
