Port Blair, July 11: In order to make more effective provision for fire prevention and fire safety measures in certain buildings and premises of UT of A & N Islands, A & N Police Fire Service has prepared a draft Andaman & Nicobar Islands Fire and Emergency Service Regulation-2019 for promulgation. As a pre-legislative consultative policy, the draft Andaman & Nicobar Islands Fire and Emergency Service Regulation-2019 has been uploaded in website www.andaman.gov.in, www.and.nic.in and http://police.andaman.gov.in for inviting views/suggestions/comments from stakeholders. The said Regulation can be viewed/downloaded and views/suggestions/comments, if any, may be mailed to cfo.and@nic.in or submitted in writing to the office of the Chief Fire Officer, A & N Islands, Port Blair within 30 days from the date of publication of this press release.
