Rangat, Nov 23: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Education Dept, Rangat and Gram Panchayat, Nimbutala is organizing football knockout tournament from 22/11/2018 to 24/11/2018 at Nimbutala Playground under Block Level Sports Meet in which altogether 10 teams from different area are participating. The Inaugural match was played between Rangat Bay V/s Baludera team. The Baludera team won the match by 2-1. On the occasion of Inauguration Smt. Sarvana Kumari, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Nimbutala was the chief guest and she stressed, playing should be the spirit of game. Mr. Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed the guest and officials as well as players and latter on proposed vote of thanks for supporting in organizing the tournament.
The second match was played between Long Island V/s Wave Brothers, Nimbutala and Wave Brothers, Nimbutala defeated Long Island by 4-0.
The third match was played between Amkunj Team V/s Theoratang team and Theoratang team won the match by 9-0.
The fourth match was played between Bakultala team V/s Chitrakut team and Chitrakut team won the match by 3-2.
