Port Blair, May 22: The Fozdar Training Institute Board of the Baha’i of the A&N Islands have organized a five day Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Programme camp from 22nd May to 26th May 2019 for the junior youth (aged between 12-15) of various neighbourhoods of Port Blair & Ferrargunj at Baha’i House, Foreshore Road. Around 45 junior youth are participating in the camp, where the program engages their expanding consciousness in an exploration of reality that helps them to analyse the constructive and destructive forces operating in society and to recognize the influence these forces exert on their thoughts and actions, sharpening their spiritual perception, enhancing their powers of expression and reinforcing moral structures that will serve them throughout their lives. During the course of the program, the junior youth will not only be involved in meaningful conversations on entering their lives in the path of service, but will also be engaged in other extracurricular activities involving art and craft, a talk by a dieticians and visit to Horticulture (Sippighat). In their efforts for social action, a large scale community service project is planned where they will be planting trees in the city, a communication ATI said.
