I greet the Islanders on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr – the festival which infuses a sense of brotherhood and joy. I extend my greetings and best wishes to the islanders, especially to Muslim brothers and sisters, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The festival is celebrated with happiness and godliness all across the country reinforces the everlasting message of universal brotherhood, love and kindness. I wish, may Eid-ul-Fitr encourage a sense of the unity of faith and pride in the heterogeneous culture of India and request all Muslim brothers and sisters to pray to Allah during the Namaz of Eid for the wellbeing and happiness of all our Islanders.
