Port Blair, Sept 02: A large numbers of eligible candidates residing at far flung areas of this UT Islands and the Official representative of A & N Pharmacist Association, A & N Islands met with Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament on 24th August,2018 and requested to take up the matter with the appropriate Ministry for extending the last date for submission of application for CTET,2018 Examination which is being conducted by the CBSE after gape of two years with the last date of 27th of August,2018.
Considering the logistic constraints of isolated areas of UT Islands and genuineness of the situation, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M .P. vide his letter addressed to the H.R.D Ministry has requested for extending the last date for submission of application for another 15 days beyond the existing date of 27th August,2018, so as to enabling the candidates residing at far flung areas like Campbell Bay, Kundul, Little Nicobar, Nancowry, Katchal, Teressa, Car Nicobar etc. and some remote areas of North & Middle Andaman District (which has no proper connectivity) to participate the CTET -2018 Examination.
