Port Blair, Nov 05: A delegation headed by Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council along with Mr. B Eswar Rao, Ex-Chairperson, S/Mr. Dharmendar Narayan, Chairperson (FT&A), N.K. Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, (WTP&I) C H Babu, Chairperson, (Water Works) met the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Port Blair today and briefed all the issues pertains to the Port Blair Municipal Council. The team particularly raised the issue of sanction of fund under various sectors for the developmental activities of the town. After patience hearing on all the issues pointed out by the team the Chief Secretary agreed to look into the issues and assured to give necessary instructions to the concerned authority to release necessary fund to the PBMC for meeting the expenditure towards providing necessary civic amenities to the citizens of Port Blair Municipal area in the larger public interes
