Port Blair, Mar 05: All the general public are hereby advised that if any auto rickshaw’s drivers are demanding excess fare, plying without operating fare meter, defective meter may lodge their complaint at the following sites of A&N Traffic Police, so as deemed fit action would be taken against them.

Besides, all the Auto Rickshaw’s drivers who are plying their auto rickshaw’s in the municipal area are hereby directed to operate fare meter while picking up and dropping off the passengers and strictly follows the traffic rules and regulations, if found any slackness, a suitable action would be taken against them as per law, said Superintendent of Police (Traffic), A&N Islands.
