Mr. Mithun mentioned that the road on which the bus service stopped is taken under Pradhan MantriGraminSadak Yojna-2 three years back but still the work is not initiated due to the high rate quoted by contractors.

He stated that due to the road being under PMGSY-2, Gram Panchayat needs the approval of the Panchayat Director for conducting repair works but after several requests to the authority, the Panchayat did not get any official approval. Due to this, the engineering wing of PRIs is not accepting any emergency work of road repair.

Therefore, Mr. Mithun Das, Pradhan along with all ward members including Panchayat Samiti Member, Ramnagar jointly sought the interventions of the PM Narendra Modi and other ministers either for the immediate approval for the repair works on the PMGSY-2 road or the resumption of bus service in Ramnagar village road otherwise the whole Gram Panchayat Ramnagar, Diglipur will resign within 30 days.
