Port Blair, Dec 13: The Defence Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Andaman & Nicobar Command (ANC) on a two day visit from 15th of December to 16th December 2018. On her second visit to the Command, the Defence Minister will review the operational preparedness and infrastructural developments of the outlying units of ANC. She will be accompanied by Admiral Sunil Lanba, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chairman Chief of Staff Committee & Chief of the Naval Staff.
On the occasion of Vijay Diwas, she will be laying a wreath at a memorial in Campbell Bay island on 16th December 2018. The Defence Minister will also interact with troops at various places during her visit and will be inaugurating the second phase of Married Accommodation Project (MAP) consisting of 868 dwelling units for troops of ANC at Military Station Brichgunj in Port Blair.Port Blair, Dec 13: The Defence Minister of India, Smt.
