Port Blair, July 03: To see the Cleanliness and Sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, today Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal visited the Primary Health Centre Manglutan and interacted with out and in patients as well as attendants and staff of the Hospital and urges them to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the Hospital and also at their respective localities.
Mr. Lal also urged them to take precautions of the diseases which spreads during rainy season in these islands like Andaman fever, Dengue and Malaria etc.
He requested to the incharge of the Hospital to have a mike publicity in the entire village for the prevention of such diseases, which spreads during rainy season.
Medical Officer Dr. Shivangi Lal, Pradhan Sai Marry, Junior Engineer of the area Mr. Sahid Baksh and Panchayat Secretary Vineeta Devi accompanied with Mr. Lal during the visit.
Later on to the request of Pradhan Smti Sai Mary, they visited Govt. Middle School Humphrygunj also and seen a road of 200 meters stretch which is incomplete since 4 years inspite of materials are dumped infront of the school.
The Ambassador SBM assured to bring in to the kind notice of Chief Engineer A.P.W.D shortly along with Pradhan Smti sai Mary.
