Port Blair, Apr 03: The Diglipur Premier League Night Cricket Tournament was inaugurated on a grand scale by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, TSG Charitable Foundation at Navin Nagar, Diglipur on today.
The tournament was organised by Gadda Basti Youths in collaboration with TSG Charitable Foundation to promote sports-related spirit in the far flung areas and give young and promising talents an opportunity to come together for the cause of sports.
Addressing the youths, Mr. TSG Bhasker exhorted them to take part in sports to beat stress and enhance physical and mental fitness. He encouraged the youths to participate in games with true sportsman spirit.
Mr. TSG Bhasker also appreciated the organizing committee of the tournament including Mr. Suresh, Social Worker and Mr. Ashok, Social Worker for motivating the youths towards sports.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Mohd. Zubair, Social Worker, Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Social Worker, Mr. M.A Sajid, Social Worker, Mr. Amir Bux, Programme Coordinator, TSG Charitable Foundation along with Block Development Officer and PRI’s of Diglipur.
