Young Chess Prodigy Shrihaan Karmakar Makes History as the Youngest AFM Title Holder from A&N Islands

Port Blair, Apr 03: Shrihaan Karmakar, a ten-year-old chess player from Port Blair, attains the title of Arena FIDE Master (AFM) and becomes the youngest chess player from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to receive the AFM title.

AFM Shrihaan Karmakar, a Class V student of KV 2, Minnie Bay, and a Rated Player with a FIDE rating of 1461 from the islands, was today conferred the title of Arena FIDE Master (AFM) by the World Chess Federation for his outstanding performance in the FIDE Online Arena (FOA).
