MP demands exemption of COVID-19 test charges for Diglipur commuters

Port Blair, Jan 17:  Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to consider waiving off of COVID-19 test charges of Rs.200/- for the commuters and residents from Diglipur arriving at Port Blair by Ferries/Vehicles. He further stated that exemption of COVID test charges has already been provided by A&N Administration to commuters and residents of Mayabunder and Rangat Tehsil arriving at Port Blair and including Diglipur would ensure relief to all of North and Middle Andaman.
