Port Blair, June 21: The Seventh International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at various units and formations across the A&N Islands, from INS Kohassa in Diglibur, INS Utkrosh in Port Blair and AF Station, Car Nicobar to INS Baaz at Campbell Bay. Personnel of Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) practiced Yoga on 21 Jun 21 through organised online events along with their families from within the confines of their homes.
Yoga was also conducted onboard naval ships in harbour and those deployed at sea. Yoga sessions which were organised as physical events were in stri cct compliance with Covid-19 guidelines. To benefit the larger community, pre-recorded Yoga sessions by certified Yoga experts were disseminated to all the Components to enable maximum benefit from the online event.
