Fit India Freedom Run by NYK and HRS

Port Blair, Sept 12: Our country is celebrating its 75th year independence and to commemorate the great occasion, various programs are organized under the theme “Azad ka Amrit Mahotsav”. 

As part of it, “Fit India Freedom Run” was held in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands which was organized by NYK in association with Hindu Rashtra Shakti & NCC Unit IV (JNRM) 

Amidst the restrictions for Covid-19 spread, a whopping 100 persons registered for the run which is quite unprecedented. The level of response received from public was unprecedented.

All the participants followed the covid-19 protocol and the run was flagged off by Dr Rajiv Ghosh. Before commencing the run he enlightened the participants with few words regarding the “Fitness dose” one has to follow everyday to keep himself or herself fit. All the participants took pledge to follow the fitness dose and make the general public to follow the “Fitness Mantra” 

On this occasion Dr. K. Venketesan, Associate Professor, JNRM, Dr. Sunita Patil, Vedanta Academy, Mr. Amar Kumar Singh, National Secretary Secretary (Hindu Rashtra Shakti), Mr Rakeshwar Lall, State President (HRS), Smti. D. Radhika (State General Secretary, HRS). Smti Taposi Shah (South Andaman, District President, HRS) and other dignitaries were present.

The Hindu Rashtra Shakti & NSS UNIT IV (JNRM) played a vital role in making the whole event a grand success. 

Concluding the event, vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Gopal Ch Biswas, Nehru Yuva Kendra. All the participants were given “Certificate of Participation”.
