Port Blair, Jun 08: Island Protection Forum, A&N Islands expressed its gratitude to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for the decision regarding the recruitment of vacant posts under A&N Administration within a timeline.
IPF conveyed that after a long gap since 2019 due to the COVID pandemic, the requirement process was ceased, due to which the unemployed youths of the Islands were worried. But now they are relieved about this decision that the recruitment drive is going to start very soon.
IPF also suggested some provisions like the re-introduction of Local Certificates as a mandatory document, one time Age relaxation of at least three years for the Covid pandemic period, and a Timeline that should be fixed for the completion of recruitment.
