Port Blair, Jan 06: In the series of events to celebrate Army Day, Army Component of Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) organized a Mini Marathon for the Army personnel and their families at Brichgunj Military Station on 05th January 2020. Brigadier Rajeev Nagyal, SM, Station Commander, Britchgunj Military Station flagged off the Event.
Three categories of the race including 10 km, 3.5 km Run for Fun for the ladies and 100 metre sprint for the children were held. As many as 350 service personnel and 72 ladies and children participated under different categories enthusiastically. The winners were awarded by the Station Commander, who also complimented the participants and motivated them to participate in sports and outdoor activities.
