Pradhan GP Uttara demands to develop a park near the “Azad Hind FaujSetu” for the promotion of tourism in the area

Port Blair, Aug 30: Mr. Prakash Mandal, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Uttara has requested the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, A&N Administration to develop a park near the “Azad Hind FaujSetu” for the promotion of tourism in the area.

            In a letter, Mr. Mandal mention that the newly inaugurated bridge has started attracting numerous tourists and local people to admire the ambiance of Azad Hind FaujSetu.

            Therefore, Mr. Prakash Mandal, Pradhan, GP Uttara requested the Forest Department to develop a park along with a mangrove walk from Park to Uttara Jetty beside the creek on the vacant land which belongs to forest department at the bridge entrance.
