Port Blair, Jun 26: Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, North & Middle Andaman organized a National LokAdalat on 26th June 2022 in association with District Legal Services Authority, A&N Islands under the instruction of SLSA and NALSA.
A total of 66 cases including 37 pre-litigation bank loan recovery cases and 29 petty cases were placed before the Bench of National Lok wherein 12 pre-litigation cases and 17 petty cases under MV Act and Excise Act were disposed of.
The aforesaid National LokAdalat Bench was presided by Mr. JimutBahan Biswas, Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, SDLSC, Mayabunder along with two Members namely Mr. Biswajit Mandal, Ld. Advocate and Mr. Mithun Das, Pradhan, Ram Nagar Gram Panchayat, Diglipur.
