Port Blair, May 02: A Team of A&N Islands has won 03 medals in the 5th South India Youth U23 and Senior Muay Thai Championship 2022 organized by the United Muay Thai Association of Karnataka.
Mr. N.Jagadeka Varma won the Gold Medal in the 91 kg category in Senior Muay Thai and Mr. K. Soma Sundaram and Mr. M Deepak Krishnan won the Bronze medal in the 75 and 71 kg respectively in Senior Muay Thai.
This is the first time a Gold is won in Muay Thai Championship for A&N Islands. A total of 05 states and one Union Territory participated in South Indian Muay Thai Championship 2022.
