Port Blair, Dec 12: The Coimbatore Local Centre under the aegis of Textile Engg. Division Board of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), in association with Department of Textile Technology, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore is organising 32nd National Convention of Textile Engineers & National Seminar on the theme “Technology Innovations and Value Added Products in Textile Supply Chain” on January 4 & 5, 2019 at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
The convention will encompass innovation and value addition in Polymers & Fibers, Yarn Manufacturing, Fabric Manufacturing, Finishing & Coating, Acoustic Textiles, Structural Composites, Filtration Textiles, Medical Textiles, Defense Textiles, Protective Textiles, Electroactive Textiles etc.
The convention envisages participation from institutes and industries working on innovations in Textiles. Various experts have confirmed their participation to share their expertise through plenary sessions. The convention would provide an excellent opportunity for organizations to gain national visibility and publicity by showcasing their products and services to a highly focused audience besides networking with participants from various parts of our nation. In addition, many industrial/technical textile companies will be participating and exhibiting their products.
