ANC Carries Out Medical Evacuation of CARNIC Infant

Port Blair, Dec 30: Andaman Nicobar Command (ANC) carried out medical evacuation of a nine months old female baby patient Sangita daughter of Linston resident of Carnicobar last night. The Baby was safely brought to Port Blair.
The Baby was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and was suffering with fever, cold and cough and needed emergency air evacuation to Port Blair. Reacting quickly to the request of A&N administration, Andaman Nicobar Command, immediately launched an Indian Air Force Dornier for the evacuation. On arrival, the baby was transferred to GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair for further treatment.
