Port Blair, Jan 20: Andaman Nicobar Command (ANC) organised an Officers Cross Country Championship today. Total four teams participated in the 7.5 kms long championship run comprising 35 personnel from Headquarters ANC, 108 Mountain Brigade, Naval Component and Coast Guard Component.
The run Commenced from Marina Park, Port Blair and culminated at INS Utkrosh near Corbyn’s Chowk. The Naval Component team won the ANC Officers Cross Country Trophy for the year 2019 and Captain Ajit Singh of Army Component recorded the best time to complete the run in 28 Minutes 47 Seconds. Major General Beji Mathews, Chief of Staff, ANC graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented the medals and trophy to the proud winners.
