N&M Andaman, Apr 11: On 10/04/2019 in the picket checking near APWD inspection Bunglow Baratang, the picketing duty staffs Ct/021153 D Bhattacharya and Ct/021017 Om Prakash Kushua informed SI Devanand Pathak, SHO PS Baratang that a person who was found with huge cash in his pockets. On which SI Devanand Pathak SHO PS Baratang reached at the spot and found that cash in the possession of a person which was counted as Rs. 82800/-(Rupees Eighty two thousand eight hundred). Being in access to the limit of Rs. 50,000/- as fixed by Election Commission he was questioned. But the person could not produce any document regarding the same and failed to answer proper intended destination. Upon this he was brought to Police Station Baratang and the cash amount of Rs. 82,800/- were taken into police custody under the cover of seizure memo and the information about the seizure has been given to the Retuning Officer. The whole operation was commanded by SI Devanand Pathak, SHO PS Baratang under the supervision of Mr. R K Sharma, DANIPS, SDPO Rangat.
