Port Blair, Mar 10: On 08.03.2019 Mr. Deepak Yadav, IPS, SP(D)SA visited PS Hut Bay and held interaction with the general public and PRI members and discussed various issues pertaining to upcoming Lok Sabha Election -2019 and about the present security scenario prevailing in the country. The SP(D)SA urged the general public and PRI members to extend their support by following various rules and regulations of the Election Commission of India so as to conduct of Lok Sabha Elections peaceful. Moreover he also apprised the general public about the importance of elections and requested for maximum awareness in the society for casting their votes.
Apart from the above Mr. Deepak Yadav, IPS apprised the general public and PRI members about the present security situation in the country and cautioned them to be more vigilant. They were requested to pass on information related to any suspicious activity to the local police. As Little Andaman Island is vulnerable for poaching activities, members of the public were requested to be vigilant and pass on information to the local police upon seeing any suspicious foreign vessel/dinghy or individuals.
