Port Blair, Dec 05: The District Administration of South Andaman in its strive for Good Governance and healthy atmosphere for its Citizen has again put up a bright front by removal of encroachment from a prominent place of South Point village.
The encroachment was committed by a group of Drug Peddlers, working from their dwelling on this said land at South Point, the notorious behaviour and ill minded acts were constant source of nuisance for the villagers and locals.
On receipt of complaints from various corners of society and after following all coda formalities, an order of eviction was passed and the eviction/removal of dwelling structure was conducted by Revenue Field Staff in presence of Tehsildar and with support of Police personals under the Supervision of Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman on 1st December and 2nd December 2018.
While the Administration is combating to get development, the shoddy work being done is undoing all the hard work put in, hence all such persons involved in encroachment are warned to desist from indulging in any unauthorized activities and any violation in this regard will be viewed very seriously, as said in a press release by Tehsildar, Port Blair.
