Port Blair, Sept 07: Basically, we remember 50% of what we ‘see’ and ‘hear’. Keeping this in view, to facilitate the students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the IGNOU Regional Centre is organizing special video classes on every Saturday. On 8th September 2018, during forenoon session 10 am – 1pm the CD on the topic INCIDENCE AND MANAGEMENT OF NUTRITIONAL DEFICEIENCY DISORDERS, VOLUNTARY HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF INDIA, EFFCTIVE MANAGEMENT OF FAMILY RESOURCES, WOMEN AND EMPOWERMENT, BASTI SEVIKA, NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY DISORDERS PT.I & II ( English Medium) will be played. Similarly during post lunch session 1pm – 4pm for PROTEINS AND CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM (English Medium) will also be played. The video class will be held at first floor of Kannada Sangha Building, IGNOU Regional Centre, Mohanpura. Each topic specific video CD will be of 30 minutes duration. The students who opted Food & Nutrition in their Certificate level/ Diploma/ Bachelor and Post Graduate level as their subjects are informed through SMS / e-mail from RC. If the student is not able to attend Saturday video class, he/she may also visit RC on any working day from Monday to Friday between 10.00 am – 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm to see the video lectures.
