Port Blair, Nov 26: Naval Hospital, INHS Dhanvantari conducted a Multispecialty Health Camp at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chouldari on 25th of November 2018 to mark the upcoming Navy Day. Total 270 patients registered for the camp.
During the camp, Expertise of Medical Specialist, Surgical Specialist, Gynaecologist, Anaesthesiologist, Paediatrician, Ophthalmologist, Radiologist, Dental Surgeon and Pathologist along with other doctors was provided by the hospital.
The Panchayat Pradhan, Chouldhari Mr. Mohan Halder and Dr Supriya, posted at the PHC, Chouldari, expressed satisfaction and applauded the efforts of defence services whilst extending full support for the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Naval Component Commander of Andaman Nicobar Command (ANC), Commodore Ashutosh Ridhorkar. The Chief Staff Officer (Med) of HQ ANC, Surg Commodore Manish S Honwad and the Commanding Officer of INHS Dhanvantari Surg Capt CS Mohanty were also present for the camp and accompanied Commodore Ashutosh Ridhorkar during his interaction with the doctors, paramedics and patients.
Navy day is celebrated every year on 04th December.
