Inspector General of Police presided over the valedictory session of 02 days course on New Criminal Laws at PTS, Prothrapur 

Port Blair, May 02: Mrs. Sindhu Pillai. A, IPS, Inspector General of Police, A & N Police, presided over the valedictory session of a dynamic 2-day course held at PTS, Prothrapur. The course aimed to equip officials of Judiciary, Prosecution, Advocates, Law Department, Prison Department, and other stakeholders with the necessary knowledge to navigate upcoming changes in our legal landscape.

The course focused on the New Criminal Laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam – 2023, slated for implementation on July 1st, 2024. Mrs. Sindhu Pillai.A, IPS, presented certificates of completion to the diligent participants during the ceremony, commending their dedication to staying abreast of crucial legal updates.

The event was graced by distinguished figures including Mrs. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), Mr. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, Principal (PTS), and Mr. Ajay Kumar Rai, DANIPS, Vice Principal (PTS).
