Port Blair, June 28: On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, awareness programmes were conducted at the Police Station level in N&MA District. In these programmes, the general public was made aware of the ill-effects of drugs on mental and physical health and the public was also encouraged to come forward to share any information regarding the sale/ consumption of drugs to the nearest Police Station.
