Port Blair, June 28: Responding to the various grievances and problems being faced by the villagers residing under the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayats Harinagar, Basanthipur, Swadeshnagar under Mayabunder Tehsil and Shivapuram, under Rangat tehsil in N&M Andaman, Mr. KuldeepRai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has immediately taken up the matter with the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands for his kind intervention to resolve the issues raised by the villagers who presented their grievances through General Secretary, Green Island Foundation, Billiground, N&M Andaman.
Mr. Sharma, MP through his letter dated 22.06.2019 has brought to the notice of the Lt. Governor about the critical grievances and genuine demands of the general public relating to various sectors such as Health, Irrigation, Rural Roads, Electricity, Forest, Revenue Land, Education, Bus services, Inter Island Boat services, poor networking of BSNL etc., requesting therein to look into the matters at the earliest as possible, a communication from MP office said here today.
