Port Blair, Feb 20: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands organized one day training programme on “Cyber Crime” on 19.02.2019 from 1530 hrs to 1730 hrs., for in-service Police Personnel of A&N Police in collaboration with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad is observing Cyber Crime Awareness Week, under the supervision of Shri. Manoj.C, IPS, Principal PTS. During the training programme Shri. Ashok Bandhopadhyay, Joint Director, C-DAC, Hyderabad Shri. Jagdish Babu, Project Manager, C-DAC, and Shri. Sangam Chaturvedi, Sr. Technical Officer had delivered informative lecture about Cyber Crime and informed about pros and cons of use of IT in our daily life and the importance of adopting cyber hygiene and netiquette. Altogether, 90 Police Personnel including Recruits of A&N Police participated in the training programme. Shri Michael Raj, DANIPS ,Vice Principal, PTS concluded the training programme by emphasizing on the objectives of the training programme and its thorough implementation in their daily life.
