Port Blair, Dec 06: It is brought to notice of electricity consumers and general public that preventive maintenance at 33/11KV Phoenix Bay Sub-Station will be carried on 08.12.2018, from 8 AM to 12 Noon, in view of the VVIP visit. In this connection, power supply will remain suspended on 08.12.2018 (Saturday) from 0800 Hrs. to 1200 Hrs. in Light House, Phoenix Bay, Fisheries Jetty area, Anarkali, Delanipur, Quarry Hill, Phongy Kyaung, Foreshore Road, Megapode, Teal House, Horticulture Road, Dairy Farm Junction, CPWD Complex, Lamba Line, Ranchi Tekery, School Line complete, part of Minnie Bay, Part of Gurudwara Lane, Bengali Club, Biggi Lane, Anthropological Museum, Middle Point, Link Road, VIP Road, Police Line, part of Junglighat, Marine Hill, Dugnabad complete, Round Basti & Netaji Club area.
In addition to above, power supply remain suspended in Brichgunj village, Brookshabad & AIR area on 08.12.2018 from 0800 Hrs. to 1100 Hrs. in connection with cutting of dangerous tree by PMBC at Brichgunj.
The time mentioned in the schedule is tentative, if the work completes earlier the feeder will be charged accordingly. The inconvenience caused is regretted, as said in a press release by B Ajit Kumar Executive Engineer (HQ).
