Port Blair, Nov 29: Sahara, an association of disables as its welfare activity is distributing White Canes to the visually challenged peoples of these Islands, on 01st December, 2018 at YMCA hall, Port Blair, near head post office from 09:30AM to 11:30PM as these white canes is the empowering tool in the hands of them to get the work done.
Along with this session, Sahara is also organizing counselling session for them, which will be a means of discovering and arousing their interests relevant to their age, sex and degree of disability. It has been requested that none of the visually impaired people should be left out to avail these services of Sahara and the said counselling session will be a means of providing a platform for their economic independence.
