Port Blair, Mar 14: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands organized two days course on “First Aid Techniques” from11.03.2019 to 12.03.19 for in-service Police Personnel of A&N Police for enhancing their knowledge about “First Aid Techniques” under the supervision of Mr. Manoj.C, IPS, Principal PTS. During the course Mr. Michael Raj, DANIPS VP/PTS, Dr. Narayan Rajaram, Assistant Professor, ANIIMS, Dr. Bibash Halder, Assistant Professor, ANIIMS, Port Blair and HC/CH Joga Rao (IRBn) R to SP (AP/SAP) had delivered lecture like. Importance and Procedures for basic life support. How to respond or assist to sufferers of cuts scrapes fracture, snake bite & burns, First Aid for drowning, Electric Shock, Dehydration and heart attack Victim, Medical emergencies- Approach of Police Personnel , Lifting & Moving on multiple casualty or injuries. Altogether, 20 Police Personnel of A&N Police participated in the course, interacted and enriched themselves for initiating steps towards first Aid Techniques during emergencies and Natural disaster. Vice Principal, PTS concluded the training programme by emphasizing on the objectives of the course and its implementation during their duty. The course was coordinated by SI DK Seal & SI Abdul Manaf, PTS, Prothrapur.
