Port Blair, Sep 21: Bhartiya Janta Party, A&N Islands is celebrating the 72nd Birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a Seva Pakhwada from 17th September to 02nd October 2022.
Addressing. A press conference on Monday morning, Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, A&N Islands informed that several programmes will be conducted during the Seva Pakhwada. OBC Morcha on behalf of the party will visit 15 thousand houses to spread awareness for water conservation.
Wheelchairs, Eyeglasses and other necessary equipment for disabled people will be distributed. Several TB Patients will be adopted and all their health and medicines will be arranged.
Free health check-up camps at nine places in the archipelago under the Seva Pakhwada with the Vaccination camp for the covid booster dose will be organized. On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 02nd October, Khadi garments will be procured for Local for Vocal.
Mr. Vishal Jolly, Former State President, BJP informed that the Blood Donation camps will be organized in N&M Andaman District and a cleanliness drive at Junglighat and Garacharma cremation pond will be conducted.
The Union Minister of State for Information Publicity, Dairying L.Morgan will take part in some of the programmes and the BJP has decided to plant 10 thousand saplings during the fortnight.
Essay writing competitions for school children will also be organized during the Seva Pakhwada.
