Port Blair, Apr 28: As per the direction of the Chairman , District Health Society, N&M Andaman, the Community Health Centre, Diglipur in coordination with forest department and District Health Society Unit, NMA has organised a multi-speciality outreach RCH health camp at one of the remotest area/village, Gopalnagar2 under Diglipur zone on 26.04.24.
Dr Arnold (pain specialist) ,Dr Shipra Mistry, MO Ayurveda, Dr Rahim, MO Homeo, Dr Diksha ,MO dental along with the other field staff from CHC Diglipur conducted this outreach camp, a large number of people including children and elderly persons attended and availed the benefits of this health camp.
An Awareness talk also given by Dr Shipra Mistry on oral, breast and cervical cancer and demonstrated how to do self breast examination at home.
Allopathic, ayurvedic homeopathic and dental consultation, NCD screening, TB screening, yoga session, adolescent health education and medicines were distributed for the general ailments .Altogether 50people were benefitted from this camp.
