The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration to send sufficient stock of petrol to Teressa Island.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament mentioned that at present there is no stock of Petrol in the Island.
He informed that due to lack of fuel, those residents who have vehicles are unable to use vehicles even during an emergency. Not only this, he mentioned that scarcity of petrol has also slowed down various government works.
