Port Blair, Jun 30: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to six employees of the Council on 30th June 2022, who were superannuated from government service.
At a simple function Mrs. U. Kavitha, Chairperson, PBMC handed over all the retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits to the retiring employees.
In her address, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council recalled the valuable services rendered by them to the Council and wished them happy and healthy post retired life.
Mementos were also presented to the employees. The employees who retired are viz. Mr. K. Kalidas, Fitter, Mr. Ramesh Chander, Mechanic, Mr. A.Joga Rao, Lineman, Mr. G.V.Ramaiah, Sanitary Inspector, Mr. Satpal, Sanitary Jawabdhar and Mrs. Nagavalli, Work Charge Mazdoor. Officials/ staffs and elected representatives of the Council were also present on the occasion.
