Port Blair, July 25: In response to the clarion call of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and National President Bharatiya Janata Party Mr. J.P. Nadda towards achieving maximum coverage of vaccination to eligible people, Bharatiya Janata Party, A & N Islands through Seva Hi Sanghathan – II initiative in the leadership of Mr. Vishal Jolly, Former State President BJP A & N Islands and Home Ministry Advisory Committee, GoI, organized a special vaccination camp to inoculating second dose of COVID vaccine at the age of 45 years above at Chidiyatapu Village community hall on 23rd July 2021 with the cooperation of Health Department, A&N Administration.
During the vaccination drive, Smt. Sunitha Sharma (State Vaccination Incharge, BJP), Mr. Yagambaram (Co-incharge Vaccination) and other senior leaders & office bearers of BJP were present on the occasion.
Altogether, 297 persons were vaccinated with second dose COVISHEILD vaccine at this camp and availed the benefits at their door step.
People from all walks of life appreciated the efforts made by BJP, A & N Islands in ensuring vaccination to the people located in far flung areas who were not able to travel due to less availability of public transport.
