Chairperson PBMC visits Nayagaon area

Port Blair, Sept 04: Mr. Indra Pal Singh, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council alongwith the team of engineering wing visited Nayagaon area on 4th September 2018. The local residents of nearby area briefed their grievances and the aggravation being faced by them. The residents informed that the existing footpath is very narrow consequently commuters are facing difficulties to walk through the pavement. The Chairperson after patient hearing assured to look into the matter and directed the engineering wing to check the feasibility to widen the footpath so that the residents can walk through freely. The civic chief then inspected other developmental activities of that area and issued necessary instructions to the staff present with him to do the needful in the larger public interest.
