Port Blair, Jan 13: Indian Armed Forces Celebrate 14th Jan as its Veterans Day. On this occasion various functions are held to honour the Ex-Servicemen as well as the Martyrs for their valuable service provided for the safety and honour of the country. On Monday 14th morning a wreath laying ceremony is being organised by the Defence at Birchgunj Byonet Chowk at 8 AM which shall be followed by a peaceful Vehicle procession by Andaman Veterans which shall commence at 8.45 AM and shall pass through Bathubasti, Dairy Farm, Goalghar Junction and Aberdeen Bazar to Marina Park where the Ex-Servicemen shall lay wreath at the Martyr’s Column next to Netaji Statue, as said in a press note by General Secretary, Ex-Servicemen League Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
