The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration to start Dental Implant facilities at G B Pant Hospital, Port Blair.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament pointed out that although facilities for Dental care and Dental extraction are available at G B Pant Hospital Port Blair, there is no facility for Dental Implant for patients.
He added that G B Pant Hospital is preferred by a large number of patients, including patients from low income groups as well as patients from Inter-Island but due to absence of Dental Implant facilities patients are facing huge inconvenience.
