Port Blair, Jul 04: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,83,909 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,588 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 24,562 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine so far stood at 27,691.
A total of 153 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands. 117 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 9 were in the age group of 18 to 44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine stood at 65.
36 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in the N&M Andaman District, out of which, 4 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine stood at 10.
