Port Blair, Oct 11: The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India has identified 4(Four) blocks namely Ferrargunj, Rangat, Mayabunder and Nancowry for implementing PMJVK.
Under the aforesaid scheme Waqf property can be developed for construction of Sadbhav Mandap, Residential School, Smart Class Facilities, Hunar Hub, Market Shed and Various other projects, the details of which is available at the office of A & N Islands Waqf Board.
Under the aforesaid scheme financial assistance shall be made available through Ministry of Minority Affairs. The Waqfs having landed properties free from encumbrance and intending to derive benefits under the scheme may coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Board so that the proposal is immediately forwarded for approval and sanction of the same.
