Port Blair, May 06: Botanical Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre, Port Blair, initiated an event to Commemorate up to 21st June, 2022 countdown to 8th International Day of Yoga 2022 on 06.05.2022 at the office.
Inaugurating the count-down to 8th International Day of Yoga-2022, Dr. Lal Ji Singh, Joint Director & HoO, address the gathering and emphasized upon the importance of Yoga and on benefits of practicing Yoga as it provides a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Yoga also brings harmony in all walks of life. The common practices in accordance with common Yoga protocol were demonstrated by Dr. Chandan Singh Purohit, Scientist-C. All the officers and staff of BSI participated in the practices in accordance with common Yoga protocol.
